Well, to begin this conversation I have to admit that I'm not satisfied with that domain of war between us, the Uncyclomedia, and Wikia. However, the creation of mirror.uncyclopedias, believe it may be a reason for revenge, not of Wikia, but users of Uncyclopedia, which somehow has created communication problems between Carlb and other messengers of our representation.

The truth about mirror.uncyclopedia made by CSI.

Finally, however much it might be kind of against mirror.uncyclopedias have some questions to ask about:

  1. With the exception of the English version, I check the mirror many are abandoned, subject to vandalism and even delete pages and administrative vote.
  2. I see no such user or sysop to bureaucrat version of the Wikia be informed about some fact of their existence. Unless some unsuspecting user enters this wiki and communicates through a local forum. I mean, there is no active user in the two versions of the same wiki server rivals.
  3. There is a serious gap between the number of competing versions of articles. The difference between the articles and mirror.uncyclopedia Uncyclopedia is already over 15 000 articles and I think many are of poor quality. Eliminated in many articles belonging uncys of Wikia, there are mirror versions.
  4. The system interlinks is the most bizarre. It is possible, for example, to interlink a version of an article to an article in the mirror Desgalipedia sacred. But the other uncy Desgalipedia and does not recognize the mirror doing uncys interlinks with Wikia.
  5. The times I am advised by other participants about the existence of administrators mirror.uncyclopedia, for example, who gained power through Carlb or Cartoonist, while there are trusted users to watch them.
  6. I've found an article in Crappypedia what appeared to be identical to the version of Uncyclopedia. One thing is when I translate an article from Uncyclopedia (in any language) to Desgalipedia or Malucopédia's articles on Simple Uncyclopedia and Wikinet articles in Çciclopédia. What exists is an agreement between users of these uncys respecting the same license on our wikis, which makes possible the translation and adaptation of our works. But I can not agree on a wiki alien to our community by participating in the administration without our knowledge.
  7. Finally, the administration of mirror.uncyclopedia ignores the existence of user-level administrative excluding the binomial of Newton (Carlb + Cartoonist)2 = UnMeta has been active in UnMeta.

Well, these are my points in this discussion. Rhubella selo-02.pngRhubella Marie, the rat sockpreppie 3 280 preppieditsRhubella selo-01.png 02:16, 31 July 2011 (UTC)

I agree with Rhubella. The legend says that no users can to administrate a mirror wiki. It may to have only the server's master administrating the wiki. However, in mirror.uncyc.org, the user Alicia Keys is a bureaucrat, a right for a user that isn't a server's master. In last month, I made a request for administration's rights in this page, for the Necyclopædia, a wiki the originally is from Wikia, and Carlb hosts in her server, but I don't have the permission because of this reason. The database from mirror wikis is stupid, unnecessary, uses only more space in server's HD. Uncyclopædiavu'wI’RENAN340contributionsThe best of Spain 04:50, 31 July 2011 (UTC)

Rhubella, I think Roberto heard you, because mirror.uncyc.org has a problem. Lol | CartoonistHenning (talk) 16:35, 1 August 2011 (UTC)

Resurrecting the theme

Well gentlemen, I had closed the discussion on this issue because we have problems with our servers. However, my recent visits to this copy forced me to reactivate the discourse with new arguments on this issue.

And look who ignored the fact that an IP have deleted the entire article about Adolf Hitler

So just check only one Carlb and more one user are administrators, however the number of vandalizações wave has been the worst seen in the history of wikis. Spambots, vandals, sockpuppets vandalizing pages including administratives pages. Including this:

I still do not understand the real utility of these versions of Uncyclopedia hosted at Wikia. The only thing that attract vandals who are able to fulfill their sexual desires and dreams of a youth in need.  Rhubella Marie, the rat sockpreppie 3 280 preppiedits  22:07, 24 September 2011 (UTC)

My concern is that the mirror sites attrackt spambots as a magnet. I fear the spambots know that the mirrors are in some way "bound" to the other languages. It's a kind of domino effect | CartoonistHenning (talk) 10:46, 25 September 2011 (UTC)
While having a mirror can be useful for when the main thing goes down or if you want a deleted version of an image or some such, I agree about the spam and vandalism and whatnot... which actually had me wondering before - why are these things editable at all? They're a bloody mirrors. Although have they even been updated lately? Athyria (talk) 17:00, 25 September 2011 (UTC)
For me it will always stay a mystery, unless Carl is willing to explain something? CartoonistHenning (talk) 17:38, 25 September 2011 (UTC)
It is precisely this question that I wish to discuss. This how various ours wikis are being attacked. This week, after resolving a dispute with Alz in Romanian Uncyclopedia and decided to play in the Moldovan version, identify two suspicious accounts. My surprise was to see the User Check the connection of both accounts.  Rhubella Marie, the rat sockpreppie 3 280 preppiedits  17:42, 25 September 2011 (UTC)
